Trusted UK transfer partner

A nationwide UK transfer company you can actually reach

Pre-booked airport, cruise, ferry and rail journeys with one fixed price agreed before you travel. Dispatch is staffed around the clock, so a booking made at three in the morning reaches the same team that answers at midday.

Who we are

A UK Transfer Company, Not an App

Most journeys go wrong in the details. A cruise sailing that closes check in at a fixed hour. A flight that lands 90 minutes late. Four people with six cases who have quietly been booked into a saloon. Those are dispatch problems, and they are solved by someone reading the booking properly.

AutoDispatch takes the journey you describe, works out what it actually needs in vehicle size, timing and luggage, then arranges it with a licensed provider who can do that specific job. You deal with one team and receive one price. You do not ring round three operators, and you do not watch a fare climb because it happens to be a Friday.

Licence on request

Ask on any booking and we will send the operator licence details before you travel.

Drivers and licensing

The standards every driver has to clear

Private hire in the UK is licensed locally, not nationally. Every council sets its own checks, and the honest summary is that the paperwork behind a legitimate pre-booked journey is substantial. That is a good thing, and it is worth knowing what it covers.

Council issued driver licence

Held for the authority the driver works under, and displayed while working.

Enhanced DBS check

Renewed on the licensing authority's cycle, not once at sign up and forgotten.

Medical to DVLA Group 2 standard

The same benchmark applied to bus and lorry drivers.

Pre-booked work only

Private hire vehicles cannot legally be flagged down in the street. Every journey is booked ahead and recorded, which is also what makes a fixed price possible.

One price, agreed up front

What the fixed price covers, and what changes it

A quoted price is only useful if it is the price you pay. Two things usually break that: charges the operator knew about and did not mention, and waiting time on an airport pickup.

Included as standard

Vehicle and driver, airport parking and drop off charges, flight tracking, the free waiting period, and luggage within the vehicle's stated capacity.

Waiting time

Airport pickups carry a free waiting period from the moment the flight actually lands, not from the time you booked. Delays sit inside that window rather than being charged from minute one.

What can change it

Vehicle size, the hour you travel, extra stops added after booking, and waiting beyond the free period. Each is quoted to you before it is applied, never added afterwards.

No meter, no surge

Pre-booked private hire is quoted, not metered. Traffic on the M27 is our problem, and demand on a bank holiday does not move the figure you already agreed.

What we do

Airports, cruise terminals and everything between

Every vehicle on the AutoDispatch fleet is licensed, insured for private hire, inspected and non-smoking. Tell us the party size and case count and the right car is allocated before the day.

Airport transfers

Heathrow terminals 2, 3, 4 and 5, Gatwick North and South, plus Southampton and Bournemouth. Every terminal is named on the booking so the driver meets you in the right place.

What we do 2

Cruise and ferry transfers

Southampton is the busiest cruise port in the country and embarkation days concentrate a whole ship into a few hours. Ocean, Mayflower, City and Horizon terminals, plus Portsmouth International Port.

Group, minibus and long distance

Saloons through to 8 seat minibuses and wheelchair accessible vehicles. Tell us the passenger count and the number of cases and the vehicle is matched to that, not to a default.

FAQ

Before you book

Is AutoDispatch a taxi company or a booking service?

Both parts of that describe some of it. AutoDispatch takes the booking, prices it and manages the journey, then allocates it to a licensed private hire provider able to run that specific job. You hold one booking with one price and one point of contact, and the vehicle that turns up is licensed, insured for hire and reward and driven by a badged driver.

Yes. Journeys can be arranged across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, and long distance work is routine. Our densest coverage is Southampton, Portsmouth, Eastleigh, Reading, Bournemouth, London, Heathrow and Gatwick, where we know the pickup points, the terminals and the traffic patterns rather than reading them off a map.

Yes. The fare is fixed when you confirm and covers the vehicle, the driver, airport parking and drop off charges, flight tracking and the free waiting period. There is no meter and no surge pricing. The only things that change a fare are extra stops added after booking or waiting beyond the free period, and both are quoted to you before they are applied.

Airport pickups are tracked against the live flight, so the driver is dispatched against the actual landing time rather than the time you originally booked. The free waiting period starts from touchdown. A delay of a couple of hours does not lose you the car and does not automatically cost more.

Bookings are taken from as soon as possible up to 12 months ahead. For an ordinary airport run a day or two is usually enough. For a cruise embarkation day, a minibus, a wheelchair accessible vehicle or any journey starting before 6am, book as early as you can, because those are the vehicles that run out first.

Yes. The fleet runs from saloons through estates, MPVs and executive cars to 8 seat minibuses and wheelchair accessible vehicles. Tell us the passenger count and the number of cases when you enquire, particularly for cruise work, and the vehicle is matched to that rather than to a default. Child seats can be arranged on request.
